As Hanuman leapt across the vast ocean on his way to Lanka, an extraordinary mountain rose from the depths of the sea to meet him.

This was Mainaka, the ancient golden mountain with wings, whose story reaches back to the legendary events of Satyug. Once feared for their ability to move through the skies, the winged mountains faced the wrath of Indra and the power of his thunderbolt. Mainaka was among the few who survived.

Centuries later, when Hanuman began his mighty journey across the ocean in search of Sita, Mainaka emerged from the waters to offer him rest and hospitality.

But why did Mainaka come to Hanuman's aid? What was his connection with Vayu, Hanuman's divine father? And why did Mainaka recognize the greatness of Hanuman?

Hanuman and Mainaka brings together the ancient tale of the winged mountains and the unforgettable encounter between two extraordinary figures from Hindu tradition.

A story of friendship, gratitude, divine protection, courage, and the timeless connection between Satyug and the Ramayana.
